The international Commission on Climate Change and Development is launching its final report on 14 May at the United Nations, with the participation of Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. The work of the Commission has focused on adaptation to climate change and disaster risk reduction. The report, Closing the Gaps, offers recommendations to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable countries and communities.
